     The complete edition ( 1.0 version) : comprises three dictionaries :

     This dictionary comprises 44132  English terms with their corresponding translations in all the fields of psychological sciences.

      In this dictionary the searches for the translation are made in English and the result is displayed simultaneously in French and in Arabic.

     This dictionary comprises 32163  Arabic terms with their corresponding translations in all the fields of psychological sciences.

      In this dictionary the searches for the translation are made in Arabic and the result is displayed simultaneously in English and in French.

            Buttons of Arabic ePsydict

         Search for the translation of psy term

     « ePsydict » has an easy convivial graphic interface easy to use allowing the user to search easily the translation of the desired words. This search  can be made in two ways :

                The user knows the word to translate  completely

     By writing  the word as a whole in the part reserved to the search and in clicking the button  “search”  or by validating  the  touch “Enter” of the keyboard, the result will be displayed in the two squares reserved for the French language and the Arabic language. 

                The user does not know the word to translate as a whole

     By writing the incomplete word ( by typing the first letters of the search word )  and after having validated the search, the  result  of the translation  displays the closest word (following the alphabetical order of the second letter).

     Example : By writing letters  " AB " and after having validated the search the dictionary displays the word " abasia" as sought-after word with its Arabic and French translation.

     If  one registers an alone letter in the cell of the search, the dictionary displays the closest word (following the alphabetical order of the second letter )  that exists in the database with its translation.

    Example : By writing the letter  " aba " in the part reserved to the translation , after having validated the search the software of the dictionary displays the word " abalienated " with its Arabic and French translation .

          1.   By  clicking the button Search

          2.   By typing on the touch Enter of the keyboard

New Search

     To undertake a new search we have to suppress the word of the preceding search. This suppression is made in two ways :

    By  clicking the button New search  and the Word of the preceding search will be automatically suppressed.

By selecting the word of the preceding search and suppressing it  by the touch Delete, or by choosing to suppress in the menu unfolding that displays after having clicked the right button of  the mouse.    

      Once the part reserved for the translation is vacant, type the new word to translate.

First word of the current letter

      After having ended the search of the translation of a word, to know the first word of the current letter with its translation just click the button  « First word of the current letter ».

Last word of the current letter

      After having ended the search of the translation of a word, to know the last word of the current letter with its translation, just click the button  « last word of the current letter ».

First word of the dictionary

     The search of the first word of the dictionary with its translation is made either by clicking the button « First word of the  dictionary » or by clicking the letter  « A ».

      To visualize words that follow the first word of the dictionary, just click successively the button «Next word », thus the software of the dictionary exposes the first words of the dictionary following the alphabetical order.

 Last word of the dictionary

      The search of the last word of the dictionary with its translation been made in click on the button  « Last word of the dictionary ».

       To visualize words that precede the last word just click successively on the button « preceding word », thus the software of the dictionary exposes the last word of the dictionary following the decreasing alphabetical order.

Translation of the Next word

       To know the translation of the word that follows the sought-after word, just click the button   « Next word » thus the translation of the following word is displayed.

Translation of the previous word

       To know the translation of the word that precedes the sought-after word just click the button  « Previous word »  thus the translation of the preceding word is displayed.

Translation of the first letter of each word

      To know the first letter of each word as well as its translation, just click the button  of one of  the alphabetical letters.

      Example : By clicking the button of the letter  « N » in the English dictionary, the software of the dictionary presents the word   « Nacrophynia »  with its translation.

o         To listen to some music varieties during the use of the ePsydict software,  just click the button " Listen music ".

o         To choose a variety of music, click the button " Open music file ". A dialogue box is opened containing several varieties. Choose one of these files and click " Open " to validate your choice .
